Meet The World’s Highest Capacity 512GB microSD Card launched by SanDisk

SanDisk has biting the record of the world’s highest capacity microSD card of 512GB. The new 512Gb microSDXC V 10 UHS-I U1 card made and launched by SanDisk, is focused on Android devices and tablets because it can increase the storage capacity.
The external storage with microSD cards has always supported us by giving extra storage space that we needed so badly. If we talk about microSD cards, then SanDisk dominates the section.

Previously we have seen Sandisk launched a 256GB microSD card which goes by the name Extreme microSDXC UHS-I. The card promises to deliver the transfer speed of up to 100Mbps which is good to save some time transferring large files.

Now the company has launched the world’s highest capacity microSD card of 512GG. The new 512Gb microSDXC V 10 UHS-I U1 card is focused on Android devices and tablets because it can increase the storage capacity. It can also be used on other forms of consumer tech like action cameras, DSLRs, drones etc.

However, if we look around, the cloud-based services are slowly killing the requirement of dedicated external storage on mobile devices. Nowadays, with high-speed internet, users don’t seem to need that massive storage media on their devices.

However, having a 512GB microSD card is always useful if you are from a photography section. Nowadays, smartphones can record 4K videos at ease, so in that case, the new 512Gb microSD card can be more than handy. Not only these the latest 512GB microSDXC V10 UHS-I U1 card can deliver a transfer speed of 80Mb/s which is enough for devices recording 4K videos.

The latest microSD card from SanDisk will go on sale from February this year. The price tag of the storage media is yet to be unveiled.
