Samsung Galaxy S7: Crazy Antutu Benchmark Score + Live Images

Samsung Galaxy S7 is likely to be unveiled this month but we have more juicy details about the upcoming device. We’ve seen it pass through Geekbench 3 but the Antutu benchmark score is even more impressive. It is the highest we’ve ever seen on an Android device.

Last year, Apple took the lead on Antutu, beating the fastest Android phone on the list, Huawei Mate 8, by a very wide margin but Samsung is closing in with the Samsung Galaxy S7. The benchmark score is very impressive and as a matter of fact, this makes it a smartphone to actually look forward to.

Thanks to Nowhereelse.fr, we saw an image of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the picture showed the device scoring 134,704.

This is the highest we’ve ever seen on any other phone. The only device that comes close to this is the iPhone 6S Plus with a score of 132620. We do not know if the version of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge tested sports Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 but its likely to be the latter.

As for the specifications, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge should sport a 4GB RAM, a 12MP rear camera, a 3600mAh battery, a 5.5″ curved screen with 2k resolution and it’s expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

This device puts Samsung in a much better position to compete with the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. Anyway, Apple already has the iPhone 7 on the way and it looks like an interesting year ahead in terms of competition.
