Things You Need:
Apple iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.1 or 7.1.2 (7.1.2 is the last supported version for the device).
Windows or Mac PC installed with the latest version of iTunes software. You can download the latest version of iTunes here.

Step 1:
Connect your iPhone to the PC and open iTunes and backup your iPhone. While the jailbreak process will rarely affect your data, it is always wise to secure your data with iTunes so you can restore it later on.
