Google About To Work on Its Branded Smartphone
A report from Telegraph states that Google is planning on launching their own Smartphone that won’t have the Nexus tag, but will be designed and manufactured by Google from start to finish.
Apparently, Google is worried about Android’s fragmentation and the limited control it has over its implementation which is quite the opposite for Apple. Therefore, by making its own phone, they will not only allow strict implementation but will also set a benchmark for other manufacturers to live up to.
