How To Install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and 3.5 offline in Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10

Almost all 3rd party software needs Microsoft .NET Framework installed in your system before they will install or run. The required .NET Framework version might be different for different software and the most required .NET Framework version is 3.5 which comes preinstalled in Windows 7.

How To Install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and 3.5 offline in Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10:

  • Insert the disk to your computer or mount the ISO setup file
  • Now open Command Prompt as Administrator and then enter the following command:
Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:F:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

Note: "F:" represents the CD/DVD drive letter in your system which contains Windows 8, 8.1 or windows 10 setup disc. Replace it with the correct drive letter according to your system.
  • Execute the above command, and Windows will start installing .NET Framework 3.5 in your system and it will not require internet connection

It will take few minutes and you will get a message that "The operation completed successfully".

Which means you have successfully installed microsoft .net framework into your windows 8, 8.1 or windows 10 computer system.
