The first update as a review of iOS 11 is already here. The tech giant Apple has just released the OTA update iOS 11.0.1 in order to begin the process of optimizing the system and adapting to the hardware of all compatible iPhones and iPads.

The tech giant Apple just specified that it has focused on correcting and optimizing iOS 11, so, for now, we do not know if this new version will improve the poor autonomy data released so far by the new version of iOS.

iOS 11 started as one of the most outstanding iOS updates, but after its release on September 19th, its acceptance has remained below the figures achieved by iOS 10 in the same period of time.

The reasons that fewer users have voluntarily decided not to update their iPhones and iPads with iOS 11 are several, but the main one was the feared initial mistakes. The most outstanding and annoying has been the remarkable reduction of autonomy.

iOS 11.0.1 Now Available as a Review

Today, a week after the official deployment of the update with iOS 11, Apple launches a new update as a review. It is iOS 11.0.1 and arrives, according to the information provided by the company, to solve some of the first errors detected in the initial version of iOS 11. Likewise, it indicates that there is a system optimization, through which they assume to polish operate and accelerate the user experience offered by iOS 11 on compatible iPhones and iPads.

After a week as an official version, iOS 11 receives its first update to try to correct the maximum number of errors detected during those first seven days active. An update that we can detect, download and install through the phone or tablet. For that purpose, we only have to access the System Settings section in the General section, software updates. From this point, we can start downloading the OTA update and its subsequent installation.

The update has been released today, so, for now, we do not know for sure if it improves or corrects one of the most controversial sections of iOS 11. We refer to autonomy, which has been significantly reduced with respect to values offered by iOS 10.
