Samsung is Said to be Working on Android 8 Oreo Updates for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Are you a Samsung S8 or S8 Plus user? if yes, i have Good news for Samsung Galaxy S8 series users. If you own a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+, it looks like you won't have to wait too long to get an official taste of Android 8.0 Oreo!


According to SamMobile, Samsung has started working on Android Oreo updates for both the S8 and S8+. Reportedly, the Oreo firmware version could be G950FXXU1BQI1 on the Galaxy S8, and G955FXXU1BQI1 on the Galaxy S8+. For now, there is no word on when Samsung is hoping to start rolling out the updates, but it would be cool if it managed to release them in the coming months.

The latest version of Android OS (Oreo) has recently been unveiled by the Google and the Android community is eagerly waiting to test the same on the smartphones they own. Samsung Galaxy S8+ has launched on March 2017 with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus official Android 8.0 Oreo update will be available very soon.

Other manufacturers, including HTC, Sony, Huawei, and Nokia are already promised that they would try to update select devices to Android 8.0 before the end of the year, while OnePlus 3 had recently received its own update.

The best thing about Samsung devices is that they always come up with something different and new in looks and features in their smartphones.
