Android Smartphone Will Show You Which Apps Are Draining Your Battery

Android is about to get a new feature that will let users monitor their battery drainage. Google is about to roll out a useful and awesome update for smartphones which are running on Android’s latest Oreo.


Android, the open-source operating system is highly customizable. However, there is one problem that always chooses to come with Android and that is battery consumption.

However, Android is about to get a new feature that will let users monitor their battery drainage. There are several apps available in Google Play Store that also does the same job like Greenify. However, Android is about to get a default feature for battery monitor.

Google is about to roll out a useful and awesome update for smartphones which are running on Android’s latest Oreo. Android will get a new section in Battery settings which will show the apps that consume extra battery life.

Apps that are consuming extra battery life will appear on the notification panel along with a red warning icon. Users will get the option to kill that app right from the notification panel or can alter settings to make the abusive apps consume less battery.

Android’s new battery settings also show you which apps are the culprits and how to manage permissions effectively to improve the battery life. However, the feature is not available to all Android users, as we have already mentioned the feature will roll out to the smartphones running on Android Oreo.
