The suspect, named Nicholas Truglia, succeeded in persuading the employees of the telecommunication companies simply to transfer the data of the mobile phones of the victims to the SIM cards of the devices under their control.

According to a post of the well-known media platform, of course, I am talking about none other than the “The New York Post“, the suspect had been the protagonist of the local headlines last September, when he reported to the police that he had been the victim of a SIM hacking by four friends. At that time, the certainty of the claim was not proven.

However, the authorities told the local press and media that Robert Ross, a well-known Silicon Valley executive, had been stripped of US $1 millionin cryptocurrencies, which was stolen in two parts, and each part consists of $500,000, and the most interesting thing is that as we told earlier that the whole amount has been stolen in cryptocurrencies from his Coinbase and Gemini accounts.

Moreover, the attacker or hacker, Nicholas Truglia is a resident of New York City, and California authorities moved to his home last week simply to arrest him.

While, so far, only $300,000 of the theft amount has been recovered and currently, the hacker, of course, Nicholas Truglia has been detained in Manhattan and simply expecting his extradition to the city of California, where he will be investigated for theft, alteration of computer data to defraud and use private information without any authorization.
