We will be using this app called PdaNet, it is a free app (available for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and other mobile platforms) that you can use to turn your smartphone into a modem for your laptop.
- Install the PdaNet application on your android smartphone and computer.
- ON your android smartphone DATA
- Open Your VPN Handler that you have configured. Click here to learn how to configure it.
- Click Start
- Once the VPN Handler application connects to the internet, open the PdaNet application on your android smartphone.
- On the PdaNet application on your smartphone and select "Enable USB Tether,"
- Then use the USB cable to connect your android smartphone to your computer.
- You will get a pop-up window on your computer that you can click to connect the phone to PdaNet.
- If it didnt pop up or you missed it, you can alternately click on the PdaNet icon in your taskbar, and select "Connect Internet."
- You will see a pop up showing "Connected!" notification on your computer
- Let me inform you that you can now browse with your PC/Computer.
