Tech Rumor Samsung Galaxy Note 6: 8GB RAM And Snapdragon 823 Onboard

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is not the biggest product Samsung has in stock for 2016, the much bigger Galaxy Note 6 is in the works and will likely hit the market by August. Based on the rumors we’ve heard, this is going to be one powerful phablet.

The device is likely to come with 8GB RAM according to reports. While this sounds really good, it should be taken with a pinch of salt since these claims can’t be verified until the device is actually released. There are also rumors saying the Galaxy Note 6 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 chipset. This is going to be a quad-core processor with clockspeed up to 3.0GHz. This comes with a 720 MHz Adreno 530 GPU.

The device will also likely have the same waterproof technology on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. These devices are IP68-certified and can be submerged in 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to come with 5.8-inch AMOLED display and quad-HD resolution. Samsung Galaxy s7 was rumored to come with iris scanner but it turned out to be false. There are speculations the upcoming Note 6 will have this iris scanner based on the “iris cam” Samsung Mobile has been importing to India.

Till the device is released later in the year, these remain nothing but rumors.
