Meet The World’s First Computer Mouse

Basically, we all know very well that a mouse is very essential while operating a PC or computer. Hence, we all use a mouse on a PC simply to operate it, and without a mouse, we can’t do everything or operate the system fluently and efficiently.

But what if I will ask your guys to use a PC on mouse!!! Yes, I know it sounds quite unusual or odd. As recently, a hardware hacker has managed to develop a functional PC prototype completely integrated into the body of a mouse.

Yes, it is right, a functional PC completely integrated into the body of a mouse which also has its own screen as well. However, if we talk about the performance of this Computer Mouse then let me clarify that it does not provide high-performance like the normal PCs provides, but, it is really interesting to see that how modularity and 3D printing allowed to create such a unique device.

However, the mouse was created by the well-known YouTube channel “Electronic Grenade”, and in that body which is printed via 3D printing carries a Raspberry Pi Zero W processor. This Mouse PC features a 1.5-inch OLED screen which is powered by a 500mAh battery. Moreover, this Computer Mouse has the traditional sensors and buttons of a mouse, but it hides a full keyboard that connects via Bluetooth to the PC (Raspberry Pi Zero).

While the functions are limited, this microcomputer can edit text and run Minecraft Pi Edition, special edition for this type of systems. In addition, the computer is able to select objects on the software desktop and allows to enter text from its keyboard.

Electric Grenade is part of a huge community that develops this type of systems, where the DIY philosophy (“Do it yourself”) pushes each implementation to the limit. It should not be surprising that much of what we will see in the future will walk safely through these roughly explored roads. So, what do you think about this?
