Nokia 3.4, 2.4 with Triple Cameras and Bigger Batteries

Nokia 3.4 has been launched by HMD Global, the company’s latest Android one smartphone, the successor of Nokia 3.2. Alongside Nokia 2.4 entry-level smartphones.

It features a 6.39-inch HD+ punch-hole screen, powered by the Snapdragon 460 chipset with an octa-core CPU – HMD says its CPU is 70% faster than Nokia 3.2’s quad-core processor. It runs Android 10 now and is ready to make the jump to Android 11 in the future. The handset is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage and supports microSD cards up to 512GB.



Looking at the cameras, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera, a secondary 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera for Portrait Mode, and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also has Night mode support and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, comes with a dedicated Google Assistant Button, has dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots feature 3D nano-textured rear cover, fully recyclable diecast metal chassis, and packs a 4000mAh battery.

The Nokia 3.4 will be available in Charcoal starting in early October. The base 3/32 GB model will cost €160, there will be 3/64 GB and 4/64 GB configurations available as well.

Nokia 2.4

The Nokia 2.4 on the other hand, is larger than both its predecessor (the 2.3) and its new sibling (the 3.4). It packs a 6.5” LCD with 720+ resolution (20:9). The battery is bigger as well, it has a 4,500 mAh capacity. Unfortunately, it charges at 5W over outdated micro USB.



by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, which is similar to the A22 found in last year’s Nokia 2.3 though now with an octa-core CPU. It’s paired with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB storage and there’s a dedicated microSD slot even on the dual SIM versions of the 2.4.

The phone comes with Android 10 out of the box and will be updated to version 11. The back houses a 13MP main camera and its less useful friend, the 2MP depth sensor. The 5MP selfie camera is in a teardrop notch.
