Building upon the success of the Samsung SSD T1, Samsung has announced the new SSD T3 which offers a lot of improvements. Samsung’s latest solid state drive (SSD) can best be described as innovative and a video of the product has surfaced.

Companies are taking advantage of USB Type-C and a lot of gadgets to be shown at CES adopt this connection. Samsung SSD T3 is no exception: it uses USB 3.1 and Type-C connections. It can also be used on USD 2.0 port. This means it can be readily used with almost any device.
Being lighter and faster than most hard drives in the market, T3 offers up to 450MB/s read and write speed. It is offered in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB versions but pricing isn’t available at the moment. It should be launched in February in the US, Korea, China and some European markets before reaching other regions.
